NOVEX Superdeck Deck & Furniture Stain is a low-sheen, water-based timber treatment designed to provide lasting protection while preserving the natural grain of the wood. It's ideal for pine and hardwood decks, outdoor furniture, fences, and houses.

It employs a unique blend of linseed oil, alkyd, and acrylic binders to penetrate the timber, providing durability for walk-on surfaces and shorter drying times. Additionally, it contains UV-resistant pigments and mould inhibitors.

Clean and treat the surface with NOVEX Timber Clean & Prep to remove dirt, mould, mildew, grease, oil, and other contaminants. This preparation ensures better absorption and adhesion of the stain.

Apply on a fine day, avoiding application if rain is forecast within 24 hours or if the temperature is below 10°C. Stir well before use and apply with a good quality brush or applicator pad. Two coats are recommended for greater durability.

The drying and curing times depend on timber absorbency, temperature, and humidity. Generally, allow a minimum of 24 hours before light foot traffic. Longer drying times may be needed for previously sealed surfaces or hardwood timbers.

Yes, you can recoat NOVEX Superdeck after the first coat is touch dry and tack-free enough to walk on. Allow overnight between coats, especially for previously sealed surfaces or hardwood timbers.

Allow 6-8 square metres per litre per coat, depending on the texture and absorbency of the timber. Rough surfaces may require more product.
