Coverwell Easy Sand Sealer - Interior:

COVERWELL Easy Sand Sealer is a low odour, low VOC acrylic interior sealer designed for sealing Gib® board, stopped paper-faced plasterboard, and plastered or cementitious wall surfaces.

It can also be used as an undercoat for interior timber trim, such as MDF scotia and skirting boards.

 

Suitable for: Interior walls, plasterboard, plastered surfaces, cementitious substrates, MDF trim, scotia, and skirting boards.

 

Touch Dry: 30 Minutes - Recoat Time: 2 Hours
Coverage: 8-14 SQM/L   - Water Clean Up

• Helps provide uniform porosity for improved topcoat holdout and sheen consistency

Important:
One coat of COVERWELL Easy Sand Sealer cannot be expected to hold back heavy staining. The source of the stain must be removed and additional coats may be required.

For sealing walls after wallpaper removal, wet area plasterboard such as Gib Aqualine®, sunburnt plasterboard, or skim-coated plasterboard, use NOVEX COVERWELL Oil Based Pigmented Sealer.

Certain stopping compounds and plasters may cause adhesion issues in the finished paint system, particularly on feathered edges of stopped areas. If unsure, the use of NOVEX COVERWELL Oil Based Pigmented Sealer is recommended.

 

Preparation:
Refer to the preparation section before use. On unusual or non-standard surfaces, test the product first to confirm suitability.​

 

What does “Low VOC” mean?
Low VOC paints contain reduced levels of volatile organic compounds. This means fewer fumes during application, resulting in a more pleasant painting experience compared with traditional oil-based sealers.
